We are super proud to announce that Boulder Exe has joined a small, but growing, group of walls in the UK to be awarded Accreditation status by the Association of British Climbing Walls (the ABC). The scheme, launched in 2024, is a new national standard for climbing wall operators aimed at driving forward professionalism and safety in our industry. Accreditation is only awarded to centres that meet the very highest standards of safety, governance, safeguarding and training across 8 key areas: safety of climbing structures, PPE processes, safety management plans, competency standards for instructors and coaches, safeguarding, admission and induction processes and evidence of a culture of reflection and learning.
