We’re launching our weekly Women’s climbing sessions on August 31st. Arrive at 4pm and join us in the cafe for an intro and catch up with your free hot drink. We will then climb until 6, when there will be a short film screening running in the bar for all to enjoy, showcasing some of the awesome adventures women have had on the wall in recent years!

Join onto our ‘Break into Blues’ social class, Tuesdays from 6pm-7pm
Whether you’re looking to unwind after a long day, build strength and flexibility, or simply take some time for yourself, this all-levels yoga class is for you – no prior experience needed.
What to expect: This 60-minute class offers a balance of movement and stillness. We begin with 30 minutes of energising Vinyasa flow – linking breath to movement to warm through the body, build strength, and improve flexibility. Then we slow things down with 30 minutes of deep stretch yoga. Expect long-held, floor-based postures that target the deeper connective tissues, gently releasing tension, improving mobility and flexibility. Leaving you feeling balanced, open, and deeply relaxed in both body and mind.
While this class isn’t specifically for climbers, yoga is becoming a go-to tool in the climbing community. Many pros are turning to yoga to improve flexibility, build core strength, enhance breath control, speed up recovery, and sharpen mental focus. Come move, breathe, and feel better—on the wall and off.
James is a Yoga Alliance Certified teacher based in Exeter, Devon, with over a decade of experience. Since qualifying in London in 2015, he has taught in England, Australia, and New Zealand. James offers classes in Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Power, Restorative and Yin Yoga, creating a supportive space for students of all levels to explore strength, balance, and mindfulness.

She Sends is our newest weekly social session for women and friends running every Sunday here at Boulder Exe.
These socials will be a chance for you to kick back, chat, meet new people, and develop your confidence on our wall with one of our awesome female instructors.
Our Youth Club sessions are the best introduction to bouldering for young people!
Weekly climbing sessions led by qualified instructors, helping young climbers grow from beginners to confident climbers. Sessions cover all the basics of bouldering, as well as tips, general safety and a focus on skill and mindset development.
Sessions are supported by the National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme, offering a Sport England recognized certification with rewards and clear progression.
All gear and logbooks are included, with no hidden costs.
•Age Group: 7-11 year olds and 12-17 years
•Duration: 1 and 1.5 hour sessions
•Group size: Up to 6 climbers
Youth Club membership is billed monthly, at a price based on the total number of term time sessions across a given year.

Looking to get into climbing and want some guidance? Our staff-led sessions are the perfect introduction to the sport! In just 40 minutes, we’ll guide you through everything you need to know about bouldering, answer your questions, and give you the confidence to climb.
The session is free with the cost of entry and includes rental shoes and chalk. After your session, feel free to continue climbing – there’s no time limit! Plus, if you decide to purchase a membership afterward, you can use your entry fee as a credit toward the cost of a membership.
